Free Kol Nidre Services

MAQOM A Jewish Place Prayer is excited to offer free Jewish High Holy Days services and gatherings for the upcoming 2022 High Holy Day season, with services conducted by Rabbi David Greenspoon. Remarks will be focused on the themes of the season, with a mix of traditional prayers and contemporary takes on the liturgy. There will be no fundraising, and no politics. Everyone is welcome to attend the gatherings, hosted at the Bahai Community Center in Sterling, 21415 Cardinal Glen Cir, Sterling, VA 20164.

Tuesday, October 4th; 6:00 PM-6:30 PM Pre-fast byo picnic dinner (no alcohol please, per contract with our host) followed by Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur evening services, 6:30 PM-8:00 PM

Wednesday, October 5th; 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Yom Kippur morning services with Torah reading, including Yizkor remembrances.

The generosity of an anonymous donor allows everyone who wishes to join the gathering without concern for a paid ticket. There are less than 300 seats total in the sanctuary, and prior registration is requested. You will be able to indicate how many will be attending each of the gatherings by registering at https://bpt.me/5530331. For more information please email jewtique@gmail.com

Wishing our world a new year filled with the blessing of peace.
