The Success of Organisms With Suits of Armor

Speaking at the event will be Dr. David Adamski, Smithsonian Research Associate Emeritus and one of the world’s leading authorities on the mysterious world of moths. Dr. Adamski will explore how insects adapt to survive in a predatory world. Following the presentation, we will wander the beautiful grounds of the Chapter identifying the myriad varieties of beetles, moths and other insects caught in Dr. Adamski’s live-traps.

This presentation is geared towards families so bring your kids. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes and bring bug repellant and flashlights.
